The mission of the POISE Users Group is to promote the well being of the user community with respect to the current use and on-going development of the integrated POISE system. Specifically, the user group will work to achieve the following:

  1. Ensure that adequate opportunities for communication exist throughout the user community (e.g., annual and regional meetings, publications, listservs) for issues of mutual interest and concern.
  2. Provide a consistent, well understood mechanism by which the user community can communicate, evaluate, and prioritize their items for action.
  3. Provide a format which allows the user community to speak with one voice as it moves its objectives forward.
  4. Provide communication between the user community and Campus America on all major issues and priorities.
  5. Clarify the general, on-going expectations of the users community as they relate to the work of Campus America.
  6. Provide formalized, on-going user feedback to Campus America concerning the evaluation of current products and the desired future direction (shared vision) for evolving products.
  7. Ensure that the interests of the user community are treated as Campus America's top priority.
  8. Ensure that adequate opportunities exist for knowledge transfer among the user community.
  9. Provide a Board of Directors to represent the user community, and to ensure that all aspects of the mission statement are being adhered to.
